Golf Swing Fault Finder | Cure a Pull Ball Flight.

We can help correct your wayward ball flight or swing fault with a "Golf Swing Quick Fix"

Having the ability to manoeuvre your golf ball into play by deliberately changing it’s natural flight can be quite an advantage to have over your competitors. However I'm sure it becomes very frustrating when you play yourself out of position by playing shots that have an un-wanted or an un-controllable 'Ball Flight' that you did not intend to play!

Understanding different 'Ball Flights' and their common 'Swing Causes' is a vital part of understanding, controlling and improving your 'Golf Swing'. Within this 'Fault Finder' I offer a clear description and explanation of your chosen 'Flight' and also provide a list of Common Swing Faults that may be causing this un-wanted shot.

A brief description of a Pull Ball Flight.

A Pull Ball Flight flies straight left off the Clubface from impact and continues to fly on a straight-line left of your 'Target Line'.

This type of flight is created by the Hand & Arm Swing moving on an 'Outside to Inside Swing Path' with the Clubhead being in a Square Position to the direction the swing is travelling on when impacting the ball. The ball also tends to fly lower in flight when compared to a normally flighted shot.

     Different Swing Path's in relation to the Target Line.

  • A Swing Path;

  • The term 'Swing Path' refers to the direction and path your Hand & Arm Swing and Clubhead are travelling on throughout the Swing.

    The direction of your Swing is then measured against your Target Line when impacting the Ball to ascertain whether it's square to this line, traveling from an Outside to Inside Path or an Inside to Outside Path.

  • A Swing Plane;

  • The term 'Swing Plane' refers primarily to the angle your Hand & Arm Swing and Club are traveling on when moving around your body. This Plane is measured when looking from a view down your Target Line by picturing a line that runs from the ball up through your right shoulder. The angle of this line is known as a 'Swing Plane' that should be in a neutral position which is neither too steep nor too shallow when your Swing rotaties around your Spine Angle.

  • An Important Point.

  • Your Address & Posture Position creates a foundation of 'Angles and Lines' for your 'Core Body Movements' and 'Hand & Arm Swing' to rotate round. Then as your 'Core Movements' rotate into your Backswing, Downswing & Follow-Through Swing space will be created around your body for your 'Hand & Arm Swing' (Golf Swing) to move freely into, thus creating a free flowing and balanced Golf Swing.

    With this motion your golf ball will fly on a straight line to Target if your Address & Posture is squarely aligned to your 'Target Line' and positioned correctly to suit the type of shot you intend to play.
