Every shot you play involves two forms of balance:
- Still/Static Balance: This exists within your Address and Posture Position, which is your starting position created before any swing motion.
- Balance in Motion: This pertains to the dynamics of your Golf Swing.
Your Address and Posture creates a foundation for any Swing Motion to perform from. Without the correct Address and Posture Position tailored to the shot, club, and lie, effective play becomes nearly impossible as manipulation will occur in your Hand and Arm Swing that greatly reduces skill and performance levels!
A comparison to use – Think of your Club-face as the roof of a House.
“You wouldn’t build a House without firstly building a solid foundation, therefore creating a stable Address and Posture Position (your foundation) to suit the shot you are playing, the club being used and the lie you are playing from comes before focusing any Swing Motion (the walls) and delivery of the Club-face to the ball at impact is the roof, which is the correct order of any shot build process!”
