A good start for OSU Cowgirls

Oklahoma State Ladies Golf Team (OSU Cowgirls) travelled to Trinity Forest GC, Dallas this week to play in their first tournament of the Spring Semester. In a strong field of 15 teams they finished with a creditable 2nd place, finishing behind Baylor University. Maja Stark (OSU), who recently played all 4 rounds of the US Ladies Open, had a strong showing as well as she finished 2nd on -4 with a 212 total that was one shot behind Hanah Karg (Baylor) who won the Individual 54 hole event.

Here’s how the rest of the OSU Cowgirls got on.

Lianna Bailey had another top 10 finish with her +5, 221 total resulting in a T9th finish.
Han-Hsuan Yu finished T18 with a 225 (+9) total.
Hailey Jones finished T23 with a 227 (+11) total.
Maddison Hinson-Tolchard finished T30 with a 229 (+13) total. This was Maddison’s first tournament playing for OSU, the future looks bright!

The team now heads to Florida to play in the Heroes Ladies Intercollegiate tournament at The Founders Club , Sarasota, Florida, 7th-9th Feb.
