Awesome double for Cowgirls

Oklahoma States Ladies Golf Team had another successful week winning both the Team event and the Individual Stroke Play titles at the Mountain View Collegiate event at The Preserve G.C. Saddlebrook, Arizona which is the home of Kansas State Ladies Golf Team.

The OSU Cowgirls had an amazing final day shooting a collective -10 on the final day for a winning total of 844 (-20) winning by 2 from Texas, with Houston in 3rd place on -15.

Maja Stark (OSU) had another brilliant performance winning the individual stroke play event with her very impressive 205 total for the 54 holes played with rounds of 69 + 67 + 69 to give her a 3 shot victory. This is Maja’s 2nd win of the semester and her 3rd overall which I believe ties the OSU Cowgirls record.

Rina Tatematsu (OSU) was the 2nd highest team member with her -3 67 + 71 + 75 = 213 total to finish T7. Han-Hsuan Yu (OSU) had rounds of 70 + 75 + 72 = 217 (+1). Lianna Bailey shot 218 with 76 + 74 + 68 (+2) and Isabella Fierro finished 73 + 77 + 69 = 219 (+3)

Both Maja and Isabella head off to play at Augusta this week with the Team heading to Lantana Golf Club, Argyle, Texas to play in the Bruzzy Ladies Collegiate event.
