Junior Golf Team win 1st League Match

Kirby Muxloe’s Junior Golf Team played their 1st Junior League Match today at Market Harborough against strong opposition. George Halfpenny Captained the Kirby team to a 2.5 to 1.5 win with the match being played in a great sporting spirit and tribute must be made to the hosts, ably lead by Junior Organiser Jane Burley, for their warm welcome, hospitality and the condition of the golf course which was excellent!

Played the Monday and struggled, felt the club was loose. Then played Tuesday and had 39points to win a charity day, best round for a long time.
