Maplewell Golf Course Nearing Completion

With the help of Carl Roberts and his company CR Civil Engineering and with the support of Head Teacher Mr Brooks and his staff at Maplewell SEN School we are getting close to finishing the 6 hole par 3 golf course, in readiness for our opening Multi Schools golf tournament Wednesday 30th June.

Not only will the golf course be a great facility for all the students at Maplewell to play on it will also be a golfing hub for special educational need schools in Leicestershire and the wider area to enjoy as well.

Mr Brooks is keen to give the students opportunities to play less traditional school sports and with the creation of the golf course golf is now a key part of the schools PE curriculum.
